In my 10+ years as a researcher and educator, I have dedicated my time and effort to address this question using mixed methods research approaches in collaborative team environments. I am a deeply curious person who thrives collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to address complex, multifaceted challenges. I primarily focus on social support and conflict management as key communication opportunities for essential communication that can promote growth, create connection, and build sustainable, thriving interpersonal relationships. I use my exceptional communication skills and engaging public speaking style to share research insights with diverse audiences, from undergraduate students to local leaders of nonprofit organizations.Some of my notable achievements include:✅ Leading and collaborating on 25+ research projects using both quantitative and qualitative research methods, resulting in 20+ empirical articles and book chapters in peer-reviewed sources.✅ Speaking at 50+ events sharing research insights and leading workshops around positive communication practices and effective conflict management. ✅ Teaching 20+ undergraduate- and graduate-level courses to 1500+ students from diverse backgrounds around topics ranging from research practices, interpersonal communication, and conflict management.✅ Collaborating on projects that generated more than $500,000 of internal and external grant funding.✅ Leading and collaborating on key organizational initiatives around student and faculty success that emphasize diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice.
