Development and execution of engagement, communication, and training strategies for the Agency Marketing program for Farmers Insurance exclusive agents.

Strategic Marketing manager lead for agency-facing cross-sell initiative called "BOSS" Business Owner Sales strategy. BOSS starts with Farmers Personal Lines customers, who are business owners not currently insured by Farmers. These are high-value customers that fall within our target value segments. Developed strong working relationships Business Insurance Executive Leadership, Business Insurance Zone Sales Directors, commercial wholesalers throughout the country to drive sales.

Responsible for developing relationships and driving commercial sales with new Farmers agent’s onboarding into the only West Coast Agency Point. Directing sales, account management, training and retention activities for all new Riverside Agency Point agents with commercial products. Developed both sales, marketing, and training plans.

Worked closely with Division Marketing Manager in developing, tracking, and conducting sales, field, and market training for District Managers and agents. Together with the division team we were responsible for the development and maintenance of the profitability and growth of our assigned territory through collaborating and coaching the District Managers on training, development and execution of marketing, sales, and agency development plans. Promoted agencies’ use of company-provided education and learning resources to help grow their agencies and districts. Additionally was the lead on event management for the team, identifying, securing and execution of large local venues for company events.

Managed and led a team of six supervisors with each supervisor having a team of five to seven individual contributors by monitoring and evaluating timely progress toward delivery of claims objectives. Provided leadership and guidance for the team ensuring direction was consistent and supportive of the overall objectives of the claims organization. Provided supervisory team specific support to include approval of payments within authority level, extension of authority including team and individual, coverage analysis, policy interpretation, litigation management and subrogation identification. Performance reviews, terminations as well as promotional development were key responsibilities as the manager.

Ensured claims handlers were following strict department of insurance file handling to ensure best possible customer service and exceeded all organizational goals. Development of individual contributors by coaching, consistent ongoing feedback, and career development discussions.

Claims investigation, liability determination, coverage confirmation, establishing damages, and negotiation of claims settlement. This position required excellent customer service skills, strong negotiation skills, superb organization skills, and exceptional ability to perform while multi-tasking.
