As an Office Intern at Creative Builders Inc., I had the opportunity to craft project proposals and bid packages, participate in owner, architect, and contractor meetings, and manage relationships with subcontractors through handling contracts, purchase orders, change orders, and project documentation through Procore. These experiences strengthened my skills in project coordination, communication, attention to detail, and project documentation within the construction industry. On summer crew at JH Ranch, I worked in two positions as a ropes course assistant and student coach. On the ropes course, my main job was to mitigate risk and manage the safety of individuals that were participating in high risk activities. As a student coach I led and facilitated a team of guests in developing their own personal leadership and problem solving skills. Along with these positions, I assisted in beautification projects around the property including painting, grading, and trail clearing.
