I am a passionate People Escalator and I believe in the power of human potential. For the last 5 years I have led HR for Unilever across the African continent and have been hugely passionate about building African leaders and driving an engaging high performance culture amongst our people. I sit on the Board of Unilever South Africa where I also play a critical role in our Diversity and Inclusion agenda. I am one of two black females who sit on the Board. During my leadership we have won the coveted number 1 Top Employer Status 4 times and are recognised by the Top Employers Institute as Industry leaders in many people practices. Since joining Unilever 22 years ago, I have gained experience in a broad spectrum of HR practices, Learning, Organisational Effectiveness and Design and HR Business Partnering. Previous roles include HR Director for our AMET (Africa, Middle East and Turkey) region where I managed a large scale re-organisation as well as the HR director for the Supply Chain which includes 7 factories in South Africa and HR Director for our Sales Team.
