I started working in the casino industry in early 1993 at what was then Casino Magic, Bay St. Loius. I started as a change person (who remembers the change belts and green burlap skirt/pants and starched tuxedo shirt uniform?!) and, over the course of fifteen years, moved up to Booth Cashier, Cage Cashier, Main Banker, Cage Shift Supervisor, Credit & Title 31, Internal Audit Assistant, Title 31 Clerk, and into Internal Auditor. I left Casino Magic / Hollywood Casino Bay St Louis, MS, to work as Lead Auditor at Hard Rock Biloxi and worked at Scarlet Pearl Casino as Compliance Manager. My casino "life" has spanned over twenty-five years and I can say that it has been a most enjoyable experience.After Hurricane Katrina hit, and during the rebuilding process, I had the opportunity to work as the Office Manager for Gates Equipment where I did Bookkeeping, payroll, managed inventory, and accounts receivable / accounts payable.I have management training, scheduling experience, AR/AP experience, database management experience, and am familiar with / experienced with - Aristocrat, IGT, Opera, Micros, MAS, JD Edwards, Oracle, Everi, Microsoft Office, Peachtree (Sage) and Quickbooks.
