Reck League is a community based 501(c)3 out of Norfolk, VA. providing a unique summer and after school learning program for at risk kids that attend under performing schools. We blend education and our innovative T.R.A.I.N Initiative, which stands for "Targeted Redirection of Anger Issues in Neighborhoods". The program uses training and physical fitness goals and community engagement projects to empower students to channel built-up frustration into something positive; while achieving education and behavioral goals. These programs help steer 100-300 youth toward academic and personal success, while empowering them to improve their inner city surroundings. Most of our participants come from economically deprived areas, so we seek to provide both academic and athletic stimulus as well as community/cultural enrichment through hands-on mentorship. Our approach uses diverse tactics such as intense sports training, hands-on mentoring and educational reinforcement to increase graduation rates and provide college prep. In addition, we blend cultural enrichment events and community outreach to improve their overall quality of life and help them develop better coping skills for daily living.

As the Director of Marketing and Business Development, my responsibilities include meeting with clients to determine the scope of a project and providing new customers with marketing and design direction for a wide range of campaigns and products. Overseeing production of graphic design, marketing material and social media material for mass consumption. Advises clients on strategies to reach a specific audience by developing graphics, visual or audio images for product illustrations, logos, and websites.

Responsible for the day to day application of knowledge, skills and techniques to execute IT relate-able projects effectively and efficiently. Providing strategic competency for organization projects, enabling them to tie project results to immediate business goals. Responsible for Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitoring and Controlling project life cycle from idea inception to completion.

Integral member of the JFOC/NCC command responsible for providing project management for communications and network support units of multiple forward deployed war fighters.
