My laboratory career started as a Medical Technologist in Transfusion Medicine. I quickly learned that all Med Techs were and remain the unsung heroes of the healthcare industry. We are the heartbeat of the hospital system but, unfortunately, are overworked, underpaid, and overlooked.After more than a decade in the industry, I am proud to give back to my laboratory science community as a Med Tech Matchmaker, helping medical technologists and their future employers connect to build an advantageous relationship.
