During an extended gap year due to covid I lived and worked in Chiang Mai Thailand. I was a homeroom teacher at SBS International School. Teaching English, Maths, Science and Global Perspectives to grade 2 students.Duties:- Teaching all areas of the curriculum for English, Science, Mathematics and Global Perspectives.- Organising the classroom and learning resources.- Planning, preparing and presenting lessons.

- Forecast promotions, monitoring new products, tracking promotional sales and ad hoc sales reporting- Communicating with suppliers, managing orders, investigating shortages and responding to customer queries- Create reports for meetings, finance department etc.- Constantly monitoring competitors to compare prices and quality of products on offer

Six month internship comprising of three months in trading and three months in operations.My role involved:- Updating weekly price comparison data based on the fruit and vegetable market in Ireland- Carrying out research and recipe development for a fruit and vegetable promotion brochure aimed at foodservice- Working with the graphic design team on the brochure design and with marketing on promotions- Assisting in the calorie count project for deli’s and develop healthier alternatives- Attending food tastings carried out by both Musgraves and outside companies- Assisting in the organisation of many product tasting events and promotional events- Carrying out surveys with customers in relation to the cash and carry upgrade and analyzing the results- Shadowing various members of the trading, operations and marketing team to gain insight knowledgeof their role within the company.
