As a District Manager at Dollar General, I lead and oversee the operations of multiple stores in my area, ensuring that they meet the company's standards of excellence, customer satisfaction, and profitability. I train, coach, and develop store managers and associates, empowering them to achieve their goals and grow their careers. I also partner with cross-functional teams to implement and execute strategies that drive sales, efficiency, and innovation.My passion for retail and people stems from my education in Fine and Studio Arts, which taught me how to be creative, adaptable, and self-driven. I have leveraged these skills throughout my diverse and successful career in general retail, health care, and arts and crafts sectors, working as a store manager for The Michaels Companies and Walgreens before joining Dollar General in March 2023. I have consistently delivered results, such as maintaining a top 100 ranking in customer feedback scores, increasing user retention rate by 25%, and securing a large contract with a local school district.
