Hello! I'm a coder constantly curious about how computers run the world. I'm passionate about doing my part to help make this world a better place which is why I got into software because it can transform lives and communities for the better. I love what technology has done for businesses and consumers, and I believe it is going to have a continued effect throughout the world moving forward. Software development calls to all my passions as it incorporates creativity and problem solving into code. You will usually find me with my sleeves rolled up, putting the work in to accomplish the task at hand. My specialty includes quickly learning new skills and programming languages, systems, and API design, problem-solving, and performance optimizations. So far I have Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, MySQL, Redis, Apache Kafka, Cassandra, Servlets, JSPs, RESTFUL APIs, Git, AWS, Kubernets and JUnit under my belt. I also enthusiastically grab onto any other technology, framework, or principle I can integrate into the coding web in my head.Outside the screens, I'm a nature enthusiast, certified open water diver, and an ardent animal lover. Being creative soothes my soul and I enjoy writing, gardening, volunteering, and the thrill of traveling to meet new people and hear new perspectives.
