A community-engaged producer, project manager and curator. Tameesha has collaborated with artists throughout her community to produce passion projects such as artists’ events and installations, panels and workshops. Her artistry focuses on the research, documentation and analysis of the black experience, through exploring their relationships with new media technologies. For her, storytelling is a collaborative process that takes a multitude of voices to help disrupt and shift understandings of the human condition. Her craft focuses on the research, documentation and critical analysis of the cultural experience, often acting as a liaison between the culture and consciousness by finding new ways to disrupt and shift understanding of the creative landscape. She is interested in ventures that enable her desire to provide services in consulting, production and campaign management that weave between the worlds of fashion, culture, music and art.
