Lead and manage a major business transformation project for the Northern Territory Government's Data Services Department, the implementation of eDASH, an analytics platform aimed to deliver advanced analytics and reporting capabilities to corporate users and initially the Depart. of Education. Developed on a Microsoft stack, with an integration to SAP Business Objects. eDash runs from our data warehouse, into an SSIS solution out to PowerBI Report Server and utilised by end users via our custom analytics portal.

The Northern Territory Government was in the process of implementing a new Core Clinical System across all Northern Territory Health services, including acute, community, and primary care services.A project within this large program is the Legacy Data Migration Project, in which I lead a team to safely and accurately migrate all required clinical and administrative data from six core clinical systems, to a new single Core Clinical System. An excellent challenge we had, was that our solution must keep the in scope data within these six legacy systems and the new core system synchronised for up to 24 months, this allows us to significantly reduce the impact to services and people during our staged implementation.To meet this challenge we have chosen to use Data Vault 2.0 as the methodology under pinning our metadata driven automation solution. We have a talented team designing and building an in-house end to end integrated solution, designed to be entirely metadata driven and be readily deployed and reused by any other NT government Department.Our solution began with IBM Info sphere products and has been refined to be entirely within a couple of Open Source Tools.What does this mean? - Significant reduction in manual ETL development time and resourcing, providing more opportunity to engage stakeholders, - Structured process that requires little coding ability, - Robust solution that can rapidly adapt to changes to source data, systems or target changes which reduces risk. - A focus on visualisation; capturing metadata automatically with integrated visual modelling and instant output preview capability at each applicable stage to minimise wasted effort and errors.

Senior Business Analyst in a health orientated Business Process Mapping Team (BPMN 2.0) assigned to map out the entirety of NT Healths business processes, across Hospital Care, Urban & Remote Primary Care.

OverviewAs part of the Technology Capability Uplift Program with Hydro Tasmania, I was engaged to provide assistance across a wide range of activities, such as; developing the business cases, gathering requirements, providing research and analysis into Hydro's current and future technology landscape, developing strategic roadmaps and goals for the business. This work was across 3 project streams, my involvement varied for each stream. Below is an overview of the activities I was involved with.End User Computing• Provide input and analysis into a 'Choose your Own Device' model for deploying and managing the PC fleet, including the strategy to complete a full refresh.• Planning and execution of a Proof of Concept for a more modern type of device (2in1s, convertibles, hybrid tablets) including self-provisioning of the devices and running everything from the cloud (Azure) while managing the devices through Intune.• Developing the procurement plan, engaging vendors through a Request for Proposal (RFP) and evaluating devices and the tender responses.• Analysis at various stages, e.g. Device age, Hardware failure rates, financial modelling.Network Transformation• Determining the current state of the infrastructure underpinning the WAN, LAN and connecting links for all 39 Power Station Sites across Tasmania, my work become the source of truth for business operations once complete.• Involved in the current and future state architecture, which lead to solutions for Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Virtualising the WAN with a Software defined Network (SDN) and a Network Function Virtualisation (NFV) for the LAN.Alongside each stream, I assisted with the overall program planning and strategic initiatives, conducted change management preparation related activities, including communication management and planning. I enjoyed and excelled at developing conceptual diagrams and infographics do convey complex concepts and achieve stakeholder buy in.

Initially I worked to map out impacts on the wide array of business areas and plan and implement activities to prepare them. Working towards a very large number of deliverables, this included: process mapping, role mapping, a large array of end user workshops, SharePoint development, data manipulation and report development and management. The below was the additional roles I undertook at the same time as my BA role. + Communications Manager – Managing the communications between the Project, CEO, Executive board and the business.+ Organisation Impact Analyst – Developed assessments to determine the specific impacts on over 1400 positions in the business against the new processes and systems replacing their current systems.+ Advanced Excel Management & MS Access work.

+ Provide end to end IT Business Analyst Support and IT Project Management Support to the three TAS Hospitals, Health and Human Services departments. Involved a lot of stakeholder management; Clinicians, Senior Staff, Directors and occasionally the CEO.+ Gathered and built functional and non-functional requirements for many projects, including some large scale cross state system integrations. Extensive interviews with a wide range of management levels across the state, in gathering requirements.+ Developed request for quotes and tenders for third party providers, including the evaluations and selection phases.+ As various Business units need to implement new systems/software, they would engage myself to conduct end to end business analysis as required and IT Project Management Support.+ I worked primarily with IT teams with requirements gathering, I excel working with IT teams and brining their requirements to Non-IT stakeholders of the business in a manner that is most effective for them to work with.
