CurrentCardiff is the capital city of Wales and is experienced at staging successful business and sporting events ranging from meetings of world leaders to worldwide sporting events such as UEFA Champions League Final 2017 and Volvo Ocean Race 2018’s stop off in Cardiff Bay. It is a fast growing city recognised for its high level of top achieving gazelle companies especially in fintech, finance, health, technology, medical/rescue and creative industry sectors. Meet Cardiff’s role is to work with partners and support the business event organiser by providing advice on sourcing the right venue and accommodation and ideas for experiences that will make an event in Cardiff special and different. The city can accommodate MICE events from a small exclusive business event to a larger gathering of 5000 delegates in Motorpoint Arena or 74500 at Principality Stadium. Cardiff is well known internationally for its heritage and culture based on its traditions and Welsh language. Indeed Cardiff is currently working on a new campaign Cardiff Music City. Meet Cardiff works closely with its partners in the Cardiff Business Events Partnership to make the city a compelling place to do business.Cardiff has recently relaunched Cardiff Conference Ambassador programme in conjunction with academic and business partners in the city.
