I started my career in the IT Industry in 1997 in Lawrence, Kansas. Previous to changing careers, I was in the banking industry for 5 years. I started as a Bank Teller and finished as a Home Mortgage Officer. After building and selling computers for two years, I accepted a helpdesk position at Triple I in Kansas City. There I became familiar with Lotus Notes and over the next several years became certified as both a Lotus Notes Administrator for version 4,5,6,7 and 8 and as a Lotus Notes Developer.Honeywell FM&T in Kansas City, was my next stop where I managed all messaging and collaboration for 4,000 end users. While at Honeywell FM&T I earned my Green Belt Six Sigma Certification and was responsible for implementing weekly end user training that focused on being more efficient and productive using Lotus Notes Email and Calendaring.in 2001, I developed the software Meeting Sites Resource (MSR) (http://www.meetingsites.net) used to manage their meeting and events business. Meeting Sites Resource is headquartered in Irvine, California and provides full service meeting management services for their customers using Meeting Evolution Technology. In 2008, I founded Meeting Evolution (http://www.meetingevolution.net). Meeting Evolution's web-based comprehensive strategic meeting management software is the best in the industry as evidenced by our Fortune 100 customers. Meeting Evolution works to first understand a company's internal processes and then uses that knowledge to provide efficiencies and increase productivity. In October 2009, I started Meeting Alliance Group. MAG is composed of companies that play varied roles in the development, implementation and administration of successful events.In March 2017, I founded Lean Six Sigma for Meeting Professionals (https://www.sixsigmameetings.net) to introduce the concepts and philosophy of Lean Six Sigma to meeting professionals worldwide.Specialties: Using business intelligence to manage events strategically.
