•Work closely with City General Manager supporting all day-to-day operations and engineering activities. •Supervise and lead all operations and engineering personnel for the City. •Work closely with Regional Operations Director/Vice President in support of standardization of engineering and operations activities. •Serve as the City liaison with Vice President of Engineering in support of outside plant construction. This includes forecasting, restoration, new construction, etc. •Attend customer meetings in support of City General Manager including sales support, technical escalations, problem resolution and other needed activities as defined by the City General Manager. •Serve as second escalation point in resolving type II service and provisioning issues for the City with the LECs and the NOC. •Develops the operations technical engineering and operations plan in preparation for the business launch. •Ongoing management of the network including installation, operations and maintenance of the central office and customer premise equipment. •Responsible for developing all initial and ongoing capital budgets for network fiber and equipment. •Embracing and implementing all new tw telecom processes and field operations software tools. •Provide leadership and direction to implement the strategic initiatives, processes and tools.

31F•Maintained and operated multichannel digital transmissions systems and Signal Support Communications Systems.•Deploy transportable automatic switching systems; provision DTG (Digital Trunk Groups).•Restore system/link outages in the network.•Install SHF radio systems interfaced in the network.•Maintain large switching systems and remote call service positions.•Operate and monitor switchboard operations and multiplexers, and perform trouble shooting procedures and repairs at direct support level.
