As a Field Service Applications Specialist; responsible for the Post-Sale Liquid Handling platform based application solutions. An application solution is defined as a combination of software, software scripts, hardware and biology that target a specific application. These application solutions could include instrument components from one or more Business Units, collaboration with third party instrument and/or reagent vendors and interaction with the Market Managers in the Business Units. This person acts as an expert and knowledge source for the Tecan service team and will be a liaison with the Application Scientists of the sales and application team. This person is a technical resource to mentor and guide the Field Automation Engineer.
