For the last 14 years of my 25+ year career, I have led the design and delivery of high-impact climate initiatives across Australia, Southeast Asia and the Pacific, with a particular focus on the nexus between decarbonisation and economic development. I am a strategic and visionary leader, driven by a deep respect for the power of systems thinking to unlock the potential for transformational solutions to climate change and other crises. I am mission-oriented, committed to playing an impactful role in the orderly transition to a climate safe, biodiverse and just future. I'm also an experienced executive, working alongside the CEO to set strategy, fundraise, restructure and grow an organisation from a team of 2 to over 100, and led the design and implementation of an internationalisation strategy for the organisation.As the Board Chair of 1 Million Women, I support the organisation's mission to empower women and girls to take action on climate change through the way they live.I also leverage my expertise in climate policy, finance, and innovation as a Strategic Advisor to multilateral organisations, governments, and philanthropies on strengthening climate action in developing Asia. I am an experienced convenor, and value the potential of multi-stakeholder approaches to design solutions that can achieve lasting impact. I've also authored multiple publications on the opportunities and challenges for low-carbon transitions in the Asia Pacific region.
