Meg Baer Email and Phone Number

I grew up on my family's farm near Emden, Illinois where we raise corn, soybeans, and purebred Duroc & Hampshire show pigs. I earned my American FFA Degree by keeping records on my Swine Production project and enjoy speaking on popular swine industry topics at FFA, National Junior Swine Association, and National Postsecondary Agricultural Student Organization communication events. I am currently a senior studying Agricultural Leadership & Science Education with a concentration in science, at the University of Illinois. I’m currently completing my student teaching experience at St. Joseph-Ogden High School. During my time at the University of Illinois, I have been active in the Agricultural Education Club, Collegiate FFA, Collegiate Farm Bureau, Orange Krush, Sigma Alpha Agricultural sorority, Ag in the Classroom, and served as the Hoof ‘N Horn Club Pig Show Chair. In my spare time I also love volunteering with my church and representing my county as the Miss Logan County Fair Queen. Upon graduation in May, I will be enrolling in graduate school to obtain a Master’s in Agricultural Education. It is my goal to work to provide people with educational, hands-on learning opportunities within the livestock and agricultural industries.
