My educational and professional journey began with a passion for inspiring and assisting people with disabilities to live an active lifestyle and enjoy the outdoors. After invaluable experiences working with people with disabilities in various settings, I decided to contribute to the research on how an active lifestyle is important for people of every ability. This lead me to earn my Masters Degree in Kinesiology with a focus on Adapted Physical Activity and get into the field of Therapeutic Outdoor Recreation. I have carried with me the writing, analytic and presentation skills that research taught me into my professional career by using data to help grow programs and funding for Non-Profit organizations.
