My role involves sourcing and evaluating candidates, leveraging various channels and databases to identify matches for client requirements. I collaborate closely with senior consultants to develop tailored strategies for candidate engagement and recruitment. Additionally, I play a key role in market mapping, competitor analysis, and maintaining a strong candidate pipeline.

After relocating back to the UK, I worked throughout the launch and opening of a new luxury 5* hotel. My responsibilities encompassed selling venue hire for a variety of social and corporate events, as well as weddings. Coordinating, planning, pricing and account management whilst working closely with the operational team to ensure a smooth delivery of all events. My primary area of focus centred on coordinating a wide array of social engagements; ranging from intimate family gatherings to elaborate international weddings accommodating up to 500 attendees.

Cyprus

A stand-alone role to create a brand new events venue and department in a pre-existing hotel. I devised menus, venue packages and initiated third party supplier contract agreements. I managed social media accounts, promoted weddings and events, managed guest relations and event organisers, and acted as Duty Manager/Head of Operations on event days. I facilitated a successful launch and debut season for this venue, propelling it to remarkable success and widespread popularity among both local clients and the international events community. I relocated back to the UK at the end of the season, having been separated from my family for an extended period due to Covid-19.

In this role as Weddings and Events Manager, I increased revenue generated from event sales year on year. I successfully marketed and sold wedding venue packages, managed comprehensive social media campaigns, and represented the venue at exhibitions across the UK, Europe, and Asia, creating invaluable networking opportunities. Additionally, I handled all aspects of third-party supplier relationships, ensuring seamless event execution from planning to implementation. My responsibilities included creating and distributing function sheets, overseeing event-day operations, and managing all financial aspects, including costings, invoicing, and accounting.

As a destination wedding coordinator, I specialised in pre-departure liaison with couples, upselling finishing touches, building a strong relationship with the customers and delivering meticulous on-site management in resort. I ensured seamless weddings by overseeing legal paperwork, arranging and attending Town Hall appointments, and coordinating every detail of the big day. Working across multiple venues on the island, I cultivated strong partnerships with several hoteliers, ultimately transitioning to a permanent role at Golden Coast Beach Hotel after conducting numerous successful weddings at the venue and building a strong relationship with the management.

I led welcome meetings for groups of up to 150 guests, resolving issues and managing complaints across multiple hotels in resort. I also handled airport duties and transfers, while successfully selling excursion packages and flight extras. Collaborating closely with hotel staff, I ensured guest satisfaction and organised successful PR events.
