I excel at leveraging technology to not only solve business challenges, but to predict new opportunities and proactively capitalize on them. I’ve successfully modernized over 20 platforms using a digitalization architecture pattern. The goal of modernization is to become nimble to address changing market conditions and to move key data into a lambda architecture to harness its insights both real time and over time.I'm passionate about leading people and empowering them to be innovative and self-directed. I focus on measuring the core metrics while not limiting associates boundaries to creatively generate value. My leadership systems have scaled from teams of 10 to over 1500 working around the globe together! “No surprises, no excuses, no boundaries” is the motto I use with my teams that sets the expectation that communication/transparency is critical and there are no limits. The best gift I can give my staff is my time. I travel often to be with them in person to ensure we are all aligned on our objectives and to celebrate both successes and fast fails. It is critical to have a learning culture, but to do so, associates have to feel safe to experiment.I’m an inventor with 4 patents to date. I love problem solving and prototyping. I believe development must always start from the user experience. LEAN practices are second nature to me – I can mentally re-image processes to make them more efficient.Currently, I’m a Senior Vice President of Application Development over 7 domains at a major US teleco leading teams engaged in big data/analytics, next best action, logistics, billing, call center solutions, financial reporting, commissions, pricing & billing operations, micro-services development, product catalog, and order management. We are not only a teleco, but also a large retailer and financier. On top of that, we are actively developing solutions for emerging markets. The rapid pace of change drives me.
