The Swinburne Tinkerers Guild is a student run social club at Swinburne university. My role involved general administration of the guild and participating in council meetings.Additionally, I helped run an event for the Tinkerers guild. The event was centered around 3D printing of Strandbeest for guild members to put together.

The focus of the placement was to complete a characterisation of a commercial off the shelf product with comparative technology testing including Finite Element testing. I attended professional development workshops and seminars throughout the year.Achievements- Co-authoring four conference papers- Presenting a co-authored conference paper at Australian and New Zealand Conference on Optics and Photonics (ANZCOP) conference- Co-authored a technical paper summarising the years’ work- Presented my work to co-workers and visitors
