CurrentAssisted Goldenrod Foundation (www.goldenrodfoundation.org) with social media efforts by managing Facebook and Twitter pages, publicizing events in the science and conservation areas; promoting book club events through their blog. (Aug 2016 - Dec 2016) Served as Communications Director on the Board of the Southlake Women's Club (2014-2016). This organization raises funds for a number of North Texas charities, as well as holding "Art in the Square", one of the largest juried craft shows in the country. As Communications Chair, I wrote monthly newsletters, created graphics and written content for invitations and club correspondence, and assisted with development of an on-line club survey using Constant Contact. Created Wordpress blogs using Thesis and Genesis platforms. Produced logos and overall art design, written content, integrated social media presence by setting up Facebook and Twitter pages. Designed and assisted with web content for various Boston area non-profits. Developed graphics and logos, provided written content, implemented search engine optimization for web sites, Also provided photography services for events, as well as creating brochures, charts, and other print collateral as needed.
