CM Events Co is a woman-owned and operated event design and production studio. We specialize in experiential events that provide unique opportunities for connection, storytelling, and memory making. Works with clients to identify clear objectives and goals, and bring them to fruition through strategic and creative solutions.Serves as the main point of contact for policymakers across the country, working to successfully collaborate with them on a variety of events serving small business owners and community leaders. Manages multi-million dollar projects for major tech and social media companies.Worked alongside a2e leadership to create and implement diversity and inclusion training for all staff.

Worked across departments including marketing, press, development, operations, and more to ensure events at the Festival were meeting individual team needs as well as supporting the overall vision of the Institute. Collaborated closely with the corporate partnerships team to ensure sponsor needs were not only met but exceeded with creative onsite activations and events. Managed Official Provider and In-Kind Partner relationships. Worked to retain and grow past partnerships and actively solicit and develop new partnerships resulting in over $500,000 of in-kind products and services annually.Responsible for strategically gathering and tracking event and attendee data from over 90 events and 18,000 guests. Led a team of 12 staff members responsible for executing 90-100 events annually at the Sundance Film Festival.Managed staff training including building training content and materials, as well as facilitating training meetings.Created and executed a plan to streamline the budget process for all events, moving over $1,000,000 in funds from multiple departments across the Institute under one budget. Collaborated with key organizations and individuals in Park City to obtain the correct special event and local consent permitting within Park City, Summit County and the Utah Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control.

Responsible for the development, implementation, and data analysis of multiple events simultaneously, including large open house events for up to 700 people, as well as small intimate events for 5-10 prospective students.Led a team of 15 people, working to support individual staff members to ensure the success of the entire on-campus team.Managed SCAD Summer programs which include multiple programs for high school students, as well as the Advanced Placement Institute for educators.Developed and produced a promotional plan for each event and program including print pieces, email, SCAD website, and social media.Wrote and reviewed marketing materials in support of all enrollment events.

Managed all aspects of the Library Lunch, an annual event raising over $500,000 in 2014 with past speakers including New Yorker Editor, David Remnick, and novelists Jeffrey Eugenides, and Zadie Smith. Worked as an integral part of the Development Events team to manage the annual Library Lions Gala, a black tie fundraising event that raised nearly $3 million in 2013.Managed all aspects of the Library’s Financial Services Leadership Forum, a membership series of four breakfasts annually for high level financial executives, including: Working with Library leadership and volunteers to secure new speakers such as venture capitalist Peter Thiel and Mary Jo White, Chair of the SEC, among others. Working directly with speakers to create innovative and engaging programs. Managing all member correspondence including event invitations and membership renewals. Managing catering, AV support, and building facilities for each breakfast. Created copy for event promotional materials including invitations, printed programs and slide show presentations. Managed design of printed materials, working with graphic designers, illustrators, copy editors, and volunteer event leadership to ensure the best possible product. Set fundraising goals and managed event budgets to meet financial goals. Worked with the communications team to ensure that all events were consistent in promoting the mission of The New York Public Library. Collaborated with the Individual Giving and Major Gifts teams to identify new donors, working to find the best way to engage them in the mission of the Library.Managed multiple events simultaneously including, event logistics, budget, income, and RSVPs.

Created and managed event budgets over $2 million including processing and filing all invoices.Managed and maintained event sponsor relationships including: financial donations, in-kind donations, and event participation. Managed vendor relationships including negotiating contracts and payments.Managed design and creation of the James Beard Foundation Awards event collateral including invitations, menus, programs, and event signage.Managed guest list and seating of 450 people for the Museum for African Art Fall Benefit Dinner.Worked with clients to research new venues and innovative event locations.Facilitated technical production, including presentation slides, lighting, and sound.Created staff schedules and managed events staff and volunteers on site.Generated post-event reports including reconciled budgets, income reports and overall event re-caps.
