The Director of Education develops, implements, and oversees education programs at the Tony-Award Winning Huntington Theatre Company and ensures that each program embodies the department's guiding principles of authenticity, inclusivity, and professionalism. They also ensure that current programming reflects the company's mission and the department's Statement of Purpose. The Huntington Theatre Company's Education services more than 30,000 students each season with programs that include our Student Matinee Series, Poetry Out Loud Massachusetts, the Boston Chapter of the National August Wilson Monologue Competition, EPIC: Empowered Performers in Conversation, and our founding partnership with Codman Academy Charter Public School in Dorchester.

When the former Director of Education left the institution, I was named Interim Co-Director of Education. This means I am sharing all leadership responsibilities with my colleague, Alexandra Smith *in addition* to the work I do as Manager of Education Operations and Access Coordinator.In 2012 I received a promotion from Education Department Manager. I was Education Department Manager from October 27, 2008 - June 30, 2012.In addition to my responsibilities under my old title, I will also be responsible for supporting and enhancing the infrastructure of the Education Department, allowing the department to solidify policies and practices, which will enable the department to continue to expand and grow.Facilitate Poetry Out Loud National Recitation Contest for the state of Massachusetts. Summer administrative position in BTF's Education Department.

Production Assistant for 3 productions; "The Wizard of Oz", "Alice in Wonderland", and "Oliver!" at BTF. All 3 productions had a cast of children that ranged anywhere from 45-100 children involved; including a group of adults from the Berkshire community that gave their talents as well. The highlight of summers '06, '07, '08

Taught theatre and playwriting to middle and elementary school students all across Berkshire County. Aided each and every student in writing their own play. Chose one play to then produce for the school's final performance.During my time as an Artist in Residence I also helped establish the Richie DuPont Scholarship fund, which provides full scholarships to camps and classes to students who can't afford to pay. This is something I am extremely proud of, and continue to support each year.I also taught camps and workshops for students in my time as an Artist in Residence, both at the theatre and at the Berkshire Museum in Pittsfield.
