My journey began as a busy mom of four, an immigrant to Canada, and someone determined to create a better life for my family. What started as a small piano teaching opportunity in 2012 in my living room quickly grew into a thriving business, Grace Notes Music Academy Inc., which I incorporated in 2015. The academy expanded steadily, allowing me to lease a commercial studio space and hire talented music teachers to support our growing community.But life has a way of throwing curveballs, and navigating a difficult divorce during COVID-19 led me to a pivotal career transition. I discovered the transformative power of life coaching, which helped me reshape my mindset, reclaim my vision, and move forward with renewed hope. Inspired by my own transformation, I became a life coach, committed to helping others overcome their struggles and achieve their dreams.Around this time, I also joined On A Dime Transformations, an education tech startup dedicated to empowering people in recovery to find meaningful employment. As the Director of Client Experience, I applied the skills I honed at Grace Notes—leadership, creativity, and problem-solving—to drive growth and improve client outcomes. My curiosity led me to explore AI-powered solutions, which became integral to streamlining operations and cutting costs, even on a tight budget.At the heart of my approach is a deep commitment to enhancing human connection and experience. While some see AI as a threat to human interaction, I view it as a powerful tool to free up more time and resources for what truly matters—building relationships, fostering creativity, and empowering people.
