I am a fourth-year student at La Trobe University in Bendigo, studying a Bachelor of Applied Science and Master of Physiotherapy Practice. I chose this course as I am passionate about helping and empowering others to achieve their full potential. Through clinical placements, I have gained experience in providing patient-centred care, as well as assisting individuals return to function and improve their wellbeing. Alongside my studies, I am currently working as a Physiotherapy Allied Health Assistant at Barwon Health which has solidified many of the skills I gained throughout my clinical placements. On top of this, I am in the process of undergoing my APPI certification in Clinical Pilates, which I am finding both professionally and personally fulfilling. I can be described as a kind, determined, curious individual who always strives to do their best. I have been fortunate to have leadership roles as a School Prefect and House Captain and then also a Residential Assistant during my second year at university. During these roles, I have liaised and connected with staff members, other leaders, and peers. From these experiences, I view teamwork, creativity, and fairness as important leadership qualities. I value my family and friendships greatly and continue to enjoy being active in both body and mind, and absolutely love learning new information
