I have found great success in this role.Consisting of Domestic travel, public speaking, sales and marketing to a younger market. Selling an industry to the next generation. Recruiting students to study in Queenstown and become part of the Tourism and Hospitality industry.• Responsible for recruiting domestic students to study Hospitality Management and Adventure Tourism Management Diplomas. - Delivered presentations to Hospitality, Tourism and Outdoor Education classes in over 200 high schools around New Zealand. - Attended Career Expos, Careers Evenings and sponsorship events around New Zealand.- Promoted Tourism and Hospitality Career opportunities and pathway options.- Liaised and built key relationships with Careers Advisers, teachers and schools around New Zealand.- Hosted tours and high school visits to Queenstown Resort College (QRC). - Administration duties including answering phone calls, handling student enquiries, responding to emails and web enquiries.- Co-ordinated my own work travel bookings including rental cars, accommodation, flights and meals. -Assisted with the development of new promotional material for QRC, including course promotional videos, prospectus and brochures. - Organised and ran information seminar events throughout the country.- Organised and ran 3 day taster courses for up to 70 students 3 times a year.- Strong leadership roles within my team as I was the most experienced.- Trained others in this role
