Design & Project Management• Disciplines focused on; Public space, Retail, Restaurant/Cafe/Lounge, shop in shop, high quality store developments.• Lead design assignments through the whole process; Conceptual design, schematic design, design development & construction docs and details• Provides design support for completion and execution of design projects• Participates in selection of colour palettes & material presentations, and generate specifications• Creative direction development - art direction within team and externally• To delivery a design presentations to clients and drives consultant work to achieve design goals.• Responsible for development and successful execution of practice goals, business plan and profitability• Supervises the production of drawings and documents that convey the design.• Develops and/or reviews fee proposals and workload projections for assigned projects.• Collaborate with client to develop and deliver a projects• Works closely with design team to ensure design intent is carried throughout all projects.• Conducts research and seeks thorough understanding of client needs for project requirements.• Utilises knowledge of furniture, fixture and architectural/interior finishes, lighting, art, signage, color and materials to support staff in their effort to carry out designs.• Engages clients in explorations that respectfully challenge their understanding of appropriate design solutions.Marketing / Business Development• Responsible for the development and execution of marketing strategy; as well as the overall branding and development in design practice.• Identifies new business opportunities while developing current client relationships.• Participates in selected marketing and business development opportunities.• Develops and nurtures positive client, consultant, contractor and jurisdictional/approval agencies to increase stature in the market and community resulting in increased potential business opportunities.
