I'm on a mission to change our working world. The workplace is changing faster than ever. There are new expectations around how people want to work. A lot of leaders are having to adapt their approach.The more our businesses increase our technical capabilities, the more we'll need human skills to match it. We need to re-learn how to be human at work. I help leaders change their behaviors and culture to be more authentic, kind, and human. I spent the first decade of my career building learning and development programs from the ground up. One of those companies was recognized as a top 25 Global Talent Development program. Then, I shifted into entrepreneurship and start-up land, spending two years wearing a variety of hats at a seed-stage start-up. I loved my time at Campfire: I partnered with Chief People Officers and other executives on their leadership development strategies from a variety of industries: construction, banking, technology, manufacturing, healthcare, nonprofit, and more. Now, I've started my own leadership development firm: Everleader. We partner with companies and organizations to deliver human-focused keynotes, work-changing workshops, and leadership development consulting.I also work with a few, select executive coaching clients each quarter. I create regular content on LinkedIn to talk about topics near to a leader’s heart: self-awareness, emotional intelligence, change management, and communication. I live in Kansas City with my family, including my two young children. My dream bucket list item is to have the opportunity to be a guest on Brene Brown’s podcast. Her work on human leadership and vulnerability has inspired so much of my own personal growth journey.
