In this role I handle the day to day queries of my customers and some larger key customers I share with the some more senior colleagues. I deal with the renewals, tenders and LTA extensions of my own customers mostly over the phone but, when required, face to face meetings as well. I spend time researching new charities, helping organise our data and keeping our systems up to date.

When starting at Trade Direct Insurance i had no experience in insurance, but with good training and going straight into starting to work towards my Cert CII i picked up all the skills i needed. I had already had a lot of experience in customer service and think this helped a lot as i was able to apply that to my telephone manor. My main role was in the sales department, answering phone call and following up on online leads. We worked with a range of commercial clients and some personal lines. I feel very confident in my knowledge of public liability in regards to tradesmen, self-builders and property owners. As Trade Direct Insurance is a brokerage i have gained knowledge of a range of different underwriter and insurers. Using this to my advantage when placing business.

Whilst working at Cool Projects Ltd I would do all administrative roles given to as well as working closely with directors so help organise their work. I very much enjoyed my role here but as a small company, when my contract for covering maternity leave was over i sadly had to look for a new role, but as my first office role it gave me a good chance to learn how things worked in that environment including all the jobs that keep it working smoothly.
