Applegarth Farm offers diners a daytime café and fine-dining evening experience. - In service, I was Shift Manager which involved assigning roles, creating table plans and staggering food orders so that both the kitchen and customers were satisfied.- Other tasks included providing administrative support; checking and creating invoices for external suppliers and customers.- Aided the assistant manager with Applegarth's marketing and social media. Tasks included taking photographs and helping manufacture social media content.Applegarth adapted to the challenges of COVID-19 and started up a delivery service. I was part of a core team working together to package orders, check the quality of products and complete other operational tasks.

My role varied from marketing & communications to events.- Building rapport, anticipating the needs of and supporting RWE members. - Maintaining building standards and responding to issues quickly and safely. - Writing creative copy for internal comms. - Creating internal marketing materials in line with brand guidelines. - Reaching out to local businesses to create events/ opportunities for members. - Planning and executing in-house events.- Administrative tasks, using multiple apps specific to RWE’s onboarding/ off-boarding and G suite. - When needed assisting with sales tours and following up with the sales team post-tour.

I spent the day as a representative of the ‘School of English’ for the University of Leeds: - As a ‘student ambassador’, my main objective was to talk to potential students and their parents, answering their questions openly and ensuring they felt relaxed enough to ask anything. - On the day I also toured individuals around campus.
