In my higher academia, I have taken rigorous coursework each semester while also competing as a collegiate athlete. I received a Master of Business Administration with a certification in Talent Acquisition at the end of May in 2023. I was a student athlete at the University of Missouri- St. Louis while pursuing my Masters. While being a student-athlete on UMSL's softball team, I maintained a 3.8 Grade Point Average as well as worked part-time bartending. Being a student-athlete as well as an employee taught me how important time management is. Making time to study and make sure that I am excelling in the classroom as well as on the field and in my personal life. I pursued my Bachelors while being a student-athlete at Southern Illinois University- Carbondale. While being a student-athlete on SIU Women’s Softball team, I was able to maintain a 3.78 Grade Point Average. Being a student- athlete has taught me that a combination of hard work and drive are key to being successful. It entails an immense amount of effort, learning from failure, and having the confidence to try again. Time management has been crucial for my success in the classroom, finding time to sit down and study and prioritize my studies as well as softball.
