I’m a CTE Teacher on Special Assignment overseeing college and career readiness at Rogers High School. Everyone has a path after high school— let’s make sure each student is informed as they take on that journey.

• Create and implement the university’s recruitment plan that has resulted in a 29% increase of undergraduate admissions applications during my tenure• Directly supervise seven to nine admissions counselors, including two who work in partnership with our local community colleges as transfer academic advisors. I hire and train, provide annual reviews, regular one-on-one check-ins, as well as support professional development and growth • Oversee our on-campus visitation team. This includes front desk hospitality, general admissions emails, advising appointments, daily tours, group visits, webinars, visitation programs, and yield events resulting in about 15,000 contacts annually. I partner with student and academic affairs departments to assure the visiting prospective student experience is authentic and inclusive• Play a principal role on the University Marketing and Admissions committee in the creation of all admissions based marketing print and digital material, designs and content • Work in partnership with ten local school districts and the College Success Foundation on UW Tacoma’s Pathways to Promise, a program built to engage and encourage stronger college going cultures within 6-12th grade classrooms. This encompasses up to four annual meetings with each organization’s leadership and multiple special engagements annually within the almost 50 individual high school buildings • Member of the Admissions, Enrollment Services and Student Affairs Leadership Teams• Manage both a state budget and project based budget totaling over 1 million dollars• Lead training and assure the completion of our admissions holistic review process in partnership with our associate director of admissions operations• Make final admissions decisions as part of the admissions leadership team. Review and decide on appeals, deferments, holistic review disagreements, and more challenging student applications
