In 2018, Megan Cotugno began event planning work with My Mother's Daughter Events, including custom and coordinated event stationery and decor (centerpieces, favors, place cards, etc.) as well as candy buffets and personalized cookies in addition to full service event coordination.Since 2017, she has dedicated time to committee work and volunteerism at her sons' school, where she serves on the middle school PTA Executive Board, and her family's synagogue, where she is the President of the Board of Trustees. In 2022 she became a founding board member of Rancho Roben Rescues, a non-profit sanctuary providing forever homes to farm animals in the San Jose area and in 2023 she joined the Founding Board of the National League of Young Men - South Bay Chapter.Megan's latest endeavor is teaching group fitness at Barreworks Studio - Redondo Beach, where she has been a dedicated client since August 2019. Megan teaches weekly Cardio Trampoline classes and recently became certified as a POUND® Pro - join her for a rock out workout!From 2003-2017, Megan worked in the Survey Research Group within the RAND Corporation. She worked extensively in a project management role on large-scale, longitudinal research projects that spanned a broad set of topics, including national defense, health, and education.
