- As a Second Catering Assistant, I fill in for the Head of Kitchen role in their absence and/or act as head of kitchen at other kitchens during periods of absence.- My role primarily involves cooking, cleaning, processing orders, recording and ordering stock and general administrative tasks.- I started out as a “Third” within this kitchen, but very quickly built relationships, proved my ability and earned the trust of my Head of Kitchen.
