I empathetically lead and provide guidance to the Event Planning Team, assigning events based on expertise, workload, and client needs. As Director of Events, I provide planning and oversight for all internal event stakeholders, resort, and golf experiences. Upwards of 100 events per year. I oversee, and provide leadership for the Event Planning Team - 2 direct reports. Broadcast task priorities for efficient project management. As Senior Event Planning Manager, I develop, implement, and enforce Event Standards. These standards are critical to delivering a high level of service and an efficient planning process. I also oversee standards for event design and aesthetic for internal events and clients. I plan and detail group and event functions from start to finish - weddings, corporate meetings and retreats, family reunions, and all other social events. Group size has ranged from 5 - 500, with budgets just as varied. Sold, coordinated, and produced private and public events at all High West Distillery venues working within budgets of $1,200-$25,000. Planned events for both social and corporate functions. Sales responsibilities include: Fielding initial leads, venue walkthroughs, and creating proposals within 24 hours of request.Coordination Responsibilities: Lead menu calls with clients and chef team, floor plan creation, event timeline creation, lead event walk-throughs, hire external vendors, day-of vendor coordination, and day-of banquet caption.During 2019/2020 I led coordination for over 180 events of all sizes. The total revenue for these events was just shy of $1,000,000. Provided design vision and layout for all 2019-2021 High West Promotional Events. Including, but not limited to, event rentals, florals, tabletop rentals and design, and in-house decor creation. *Online portfolio available upon request. Responsible for selling and coordinating all large group reservations at The Nelson Cottage Prix Fixe dinners.
