Megan is a focused self-starter with a keen eye for detail. She understands organizational structure on a grand scale, recommending solutions for both communication and connectivity across departments to streamline processes. She has 8+ years (and counting) of experience in the fitness and health/wellness industry, including fitness instruction, working with students and community members suffering from substance use disorders, and currently working at a telehealth company for patients suffering with chronic obesity. In addition, she has, combined, 5+ years of experience in higher education and talent development non-profits.Her professional interests include how technology can improve health outcomes, and how it influences both individual and social psychology. She has technical experience creating website automations, security groups, and logic based forms, as well as administering product tools organizationally. She’s able to pick up on technical processes and changes quickly. In addition to her technical experience, she has experience managing teams of up to 13 individuals, as well as experience working with executives on the strategic development of a successful startup that was eventually acquired by the top weight health company (WeightWatchers) in the industry. Her passion for health, wellness, and stress management continue. She currently volunteers as a Crisis Counselor for the Crisis Text Line, providing support for those in mental crisis.
