Hello! My name is Megan Christy and I am a Masters in Statistical Practice student at Carnegie Mellon University. I studied statistics and business administration as an undergraduate student, and I am interested in finding a career that enables me to use my knowledge in both of those subjects. I want to find an industry that excites me and utilize my analytical skills to solve problems and tell stories with data. In my graduate program, I have the opportunity to develop new technical and professional skills that will help me succeed in an analyst role. I have worked as a data analytics intern for a few small businesses, and I have experience with research. I am also a member of the varsity swim team at CMU, and being a collegiate student athlete has given me time management skills and experience with teamwork.
