Provides person-centered therapy based in Solution-Focused and Narrative theories to the members of our community. Clientele includes individuals, couples, families and teens. Through the COVID-19 pandemic, resilience and hope are important. Encouraging and supporting our community with these tools continues to be an invaluable and heartwarming experience.

-Brainstorms and conceptualizes future plans for family transition preparation programming.-Implements applied behavioral analysis based on culturally mindful treatment plans for children and families managing Autism.-Briefs and collaborates with supervising team on treatment planning and outcome.-Communicates with families to ensure quality care and advocating for culturally sensitive needs with supervising team.-Demonstrated experience with data collection via electronic software.

Teach classroom of 10 toddlers ages 12 – 24 months, manage their daily routines, and implement individualized care plans through systemic approaches involving family members. -Gained proficiency in child development theory and concepts by implementing age appropriate and culturally sensitive curriculum and care. -Established leadership qualities by volunteering as center’s health and safety coordinator for one-year.

Facilitated safe environment for 16 female adolescents transitioning to foster/adoption placement, transitional living services, or awaiting replacement with family-of-origin. -Collaborated daily with team of direct care staff, DCFS, CASA, and local law enforcement agencies. -Encouraged positive, pro-social behaviors and independent living skills leading to higher program completion rates.
