Megan Guinta, a New Jersey native, has been dancing her entire life. She was a member of the New Jersey Dance Theatre Ensemble for six years under the direction of Nancy Turano, where she had the privilege to perform works by Robert Battle, Twyla Tharp, Andrea Miller, Bradley Shelver, Kate Skarpetowska, and other acclaimed choreographers. After graduating high school, Megan continued her education in the Conservatory of Dance at SUNY Purchase where she performed works by Merce Cunningham, Mark Morris, Gregory Dolbashian, Nelly van Bommel, and Ori Flomin. In 2011, Megan enjoyed a semester abroad, studying at Beijing Dance Academy in Beijing, China, where she learned Chinese folk dance, Chinese classical dance, and choreography. After graduating cum laude with a BFA in dance from Purchase College in 2013, Megan apprenticed for Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Company. Megan is a certified GYROTONIC® instructor, teaching throughout NYC. She currently dances for MadArt Creative, Dirty Soles Dance, and Gwen Rakotovao.
