After graduating from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Hons) in 2002 and working for Northern Health for 2 years, I travelled to the UK in 2005. My 4 years in the UK were spent working in neurological rehabilitation, travelling extensively and participating in as many neurological physiotherapy courses as I could. In 2009 I returned to Melbourne and commenced working for Epworth Healthcare, where I remain currently. I commenced at Epworth in the traumatic brain injury rehabilitation team and in 2016 became a founding member of Epworth's Concussion Clinic - the first multidisciplinary concussion rehabilitation service in Victoria. I completed my Masters by Research in 2015, in the area of 'Activity Levels following Traumatic Brain Injury' and have since presented at conferences nationally and internationally.In 2015 I travelled to the USA to complete the Basic Vestibular Rehabilitation Course and visit specialist Vestibular and Concussion Rehabilitation Centres. In 2018, I again visited the USA to attend the AAN Concussion Conference and visit further Concussion Rehabilitation Centres. I now have extensive experience treating people with Persistent Concussion Symptoms and love helping these clients with their recovery.In addition to my background in Neurological Rehabilitation and current interest in Vestibular and Concussion Rehabilitation, I am a certified Pilates Instructor (APPI). I teach Clinical Pilates at Flourish Chiropractic and Wellbeing and assist people with their complex rehabilitation needs.In 2019, I commenced my own private practice Concussion Central, based at Symmetry Physiotherapy in Hoppers Crossing. At Concussion Central I enjoy treating clients with persistent concussion symptoms and vestibular disorders in Melbourne's Western Suburbs.When not working, I am an avid learner (podcast listener!) and enjoy exercise and getting outdoors with my 3 young children.
