Provide CNMP consulting services to a number of Michigan farms.

I help support fundraising and outreach programs as they relate to corporations and foundations in the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources at Michigan State University. I connect our outstanding research, programs, and faculty, to industry. Led fundraising efforts in FY 13-14 totaling over $16.8MM (personal portfolio success) and have a minimum annual personal fundraising goal of $10MM. I also served as Interim Director of Development for CANR External Relations, actively managing a staff of five, and maintaining strong faculty relationships across 17 units within the college. During my interim period the CANR team raised $40.9MM. (July 1, 2013-October 20, 2014)

Directed fund-raising efforts related to the Michigan FFA Foundation annual fund and endowment and MSU’s College of Agriculture and Natural Resources. Duties included: program planning and development; implementation and oversight of a $110,000 annual operating budget; garnered over $2.4MM in annual support from both individuals and corporate contributors, and over $1.5 million in individual planned gifts; offered direction in managing $2.3 million in endowment assets; managed the FFA Foundation board meetings; directing strategic media planning and marketing; event planning; yearly audit best practices; and provided professional board development and training.

Directed the institution of the Chevrolet/FFA Scholarship Program in (04) Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Colorado, New Mexico, Hawaii (05) Michigan and Ohio. Duties included: extensive sales and marketing experience while gaining support for local FFA chapters through advertising by Chevrolet dealers; strategic training of FFA leaders on proper program development; regular communication with both Chevrolet dealers and FFA chapters to maintain a working relationship; event planning and development with local and state FFA groups. Experience also extends to extensive travel, significant sales and marketing training, event planning and personal development.

Public Affairs duties included: creating two editions of the Pharma News; developing the summer 2003 edition of the WSP Newsletter (Water Soluble Polymers); assisting in implementation of a B2B digital marketing campaign; reviewing Web TrendsTM and developing a strategic plan-of-action for Web updates; and assisting in database management and e-project implementation.
