Researcher in the Blacquiere group focused on using transition metal complexes to perform organic transformations. Explored the reactivity of MLC complexes with dioxazolones, terminal alkynes, and 2-ethynylbenzyl alcohol.

Continuing with my thesis research, investigating an iron catalyst for the intramolecular hydroalkoxylation of a scope of substrates, first, that are derivatives of 2-ethynylbenzyl alcohol, as well as other alcohol-containing substrates. This will allow for the generalization of this catalyst, as well as provide information on the mechanism.
