    I performed Embedded software development for the Authentication and Keys Team. Software I have written is now running on over 4 million cars worldwide.Some of my accomplishments include:- Bringing up a new processor for Keys team single-handedly.- Developing state machine logic to detect presence of an NFC card between a phone and a wireless charger, which required integration of 4 separate microprocessors.- Identifying and resolving a hardware issue on the first revision of a new board in collaboration with the electrical design team.- Reducing the number of unintended opens on the charge port due to neighbouring charger handles in the area-Changing sleep conditions to allow security controller to sleep more easily to reduce passive energy use throughout the fleet.- Developing a system to measure vehicle sleep to fully awake timings for wake performance characterization.- Enhanced security by modifying auto present door behavior for keyfobs- Supported factory teams during prototype builds by implementing firmware change requests within tight deadlines.- Optimized OTA timings relating to BLE modules by fine-tuning parameters and testing performance.- Troubleshooting issues as they were discovered during integration including bootlooping, sleep issues, and unintended resets.- Writing clear and actionable customer-facing text to explain the state of the vehicle.- Collaborating with multiple teams including low voltage power, bootloaders, body controls, steering, factory firmware, platform infrastructure, and electronics & wireless design.
