I worked full time in a basic science laboratory conducting research on atherosclerosis and cardiovascular disease. I was responsible for designing and executing experiments, designing and organizing novel projects, collaborating on side projects, developing mouse models, grant writing, data analysis, as well as presenting my work and networking at conferences and seminars.

In this healthcare environment, I was responsible for data entry, accommodating and interacting with patients, organizing and planning schedules of therapists, communicating with physicians, organizing insurance explanation of benefits (EOBs), verifying patient insurance, helping with marketing and networking as well as optimizing patient care.
