I am a research scientist at DuPont, where I have been working for almost 12 years in the Shelter Solutions division. I have a PhD in Organic Chemistry from Northwestern University, where I studied under the Nobel laureate J. Fraser Stoddart.My core competencies include product development, designing for sustainability, green chemistry, spray foam insulation, and polyurethane chemistry. I am a subject matter expert and a product responsible person for the GREAT STUFF(TM) and FROTH-PAK(TM) foam product lines, which are widely used in residential and commercial air sealing and insulating applications. I have led and contributed to several projects that involved the transition to lower global warming potential blowing agents, and the innovation of more sustainable and energy-efficient building solutions. I am also an advocate for sustainability in R&D and have participated in executive education programs on this topic.
