Aged 13 I entered the care system through kinship care, followed by foster placements. Aged 16, I became pregnant with my first child and left care. Aged 19, I started my first job in retail.Aged 20, I started the open university. Aged 21, I co-founded OCLA. Aged 23, I became pregnant with my second child. Aged 27, I graduated university with a 2:1 Now aged 28, I am widening my goal to support care leavers all over the UK to achieve their dreams.
