In roles as a McKinsey consultant, bond trader, Chief People Officer, Chief Growth Officer and Chief of Staff at the world’s largest hedge fund, one thing has been consistent at every company: change. I have always helped my companies strategically navigate and adapt to enterprise-wide change while focusing on employee engagement, driving business results, and improving the bottom line. 2 years ago I was brought in to Dealer Tire in Cleveland, OH to run HR, and I ended up with an additional undertaking: directing the buildout of new company headquarters and the relocation process. I worked with internal and external partners to stay within the budget while finishing the project 2 months ahead of schedule. Always tuned in to employee experiences, we designed innovative spaces for walking meetings, stand-up desks, and collaboration. The relocation went smoothly, and the new facility has been very well received by employees. Prior to Dealer Tire, I was at Bridgewater as part of a highly-selective group that handled the company’s most challenging and urgent problems. Initially brought in as the head of HR's Chief of Staff, I quickly rose to Co-Head of HR and then became Chief of Staff for the COO after proving my ability to manage change and deliver results. At National City Bank (later acquired by PNC Financial) I led HR efforts in learning and development, and was quickly promoted to Chief Talent Officer and then to Director of Talent Management and Talent Acquisition as the companies merged. Even with changes in leadership, culture, and process, we received recognition for employee retention in 2010 and 2011.My work at McKinsey focused on strategy in response to market influences, saving hundreds of millions of dollars for clients. I drove a new initiative to implement change on the front line, and used organizational and operational expertise to drive enterprise change.
