Providing end of life care

• Provided advanced cardiac life support education to nurses, providers, and other healthcare personnel, offering insights on current on American Heart Association recommendations and best practices.• Assumed responsibility as the unit’s subject matter expert for ACLS-related situations, reducing costs for the organization by serving as an in-house teacher.

• Delivered patient care for critically-ill oncology patients and bone marrow transplant donors and recipients, collaborating with a multidisciplinary health care team to optimize patient outcomes.• Worked as a part of the Palliative Care Team, serving as a unit resource for nurses and patients transitioning from acute care to palliative care and ensuring patient goals were aligned with the established plan of care.• Participated in the OCN and Chemotherapy Administration Certification process while acting as a member of an improvement team tasked with streamlining the unit’s orientation process.
